Introduction

Welcome, everyone, to our Capture the Flag game! This is your chance to test your skills and have some fun. Here’s how it works: each player has a challenge. Answering the challenge correctly grants you the flag (and points). There are different categories of challenges, some with puzzles, some with knowledged based questions. So if you get stuck on a challenge, try one from a different category.

What is Capture the Flag?

CTF (Capture The Flag) is a kind of information security competition that challenges players to solve a variety of tasks ranging from a scavenger hunt on the internet, to basic programming exercises, parsing through various computer files to find clues, to hacking your way into a server. In these challenges, the contestant is usually asked to find a specific piece of text that may be hidden on the server or behind a webpage. This goal is called the flag, hence the name! Many challenges do not require programming knowledge and are simply a matter of problem solving and creative thinking.
